Structurally, asphalt distributor is a special heat-insulated tank with a pump and a distribution pipe, which is mounted on the frame or equipped inside the body of a truck. This equipment is widely used not only for delivery of liquid bituminous materials from the site of production to the site of storage or road works, but also directly for homogeneous distribution of these substances on the previously prepared surface of the roadbed or another specified area.
